Xijiang Miao Village Route

Xijiang Miao Village, located at the foot of Leigong Mountain in southeastern Guizhou, is the world's largest Miao village and is known as "a place that answers everything with beauty".

Home to 1,468 Miao families, thousands of wooden stilted houses cascade down the mountainside, forming a spectacular architectural wonder. The Baishui River flows through the village, with historic covered bridges lining its banks, creating a vivid landscape painting of the Miao mountains together with the terraced fields in the distance.

The Miao village is a living museum of Miao culture. You can immerse yourself in the grandest welcoming ceremony, the "Twelve Rounds of Welcoming Wine," enjoy the Dong folk songs hailed as "heavenly music," or watch lively folk performances at the Lusheng (reed pipe) performance area. As night falls, thousands of lights illuminate the village, creating a starry sky over the mountains, and the night view from the observation deck is truly breathtaking.
